This blog post describes the content of the video, which you can see below:
In this vlog, we stay with Natalie’s parents in France. It’s a no-travel week, but things still need to be done.
Isa disappears
But before anything can happen workwise, Isa runs off. She does this sometimes as she knows the area very well, but hunters are around, and she should not leave our land. So Natalie runs around trying to find her, but she isn’t in her normal spots.
Desperate to find her, Natalie’s mother and Natalie drive around, and while they do, Isa leisurely returns without a care in the world.
Dad’s birthday party
Part of why we came to the house in France was that it is Natalie’s dad’s birthday, and we get to celebrate with their friends. It might be Isa who enjoys this company the most.

Chores around the house
It’s spring, so there is a lot to do around the house. Marten loves chopping and stacking wood for winter. Dad is mowing the lawn, and mom is planting new plants in the vegetable garden. Marten and dad also trim some bushes and get rid of the branches.
Marten also attaches the dog car because we had it with us but couldn’t use it until now. All because of an axel that wouldn’t play game. Marten buys a special axel that allows the car to get connected.
The weather is nice, so when we have breaks, we sit in the sun on the terrace and chill, and we can eat lunch outdoors. What lovely weather in April! It is still quite chilly in the evenings, so we go inside to play games.

Travel Logbook
While the chores are getting done, Natalie is working hard on both the videos for OurCamperStories as her own business Digitalie.
She also finally gets her hands on the first print of the Travel Logbook Marten and she made. This logbook is for anyone who goes camping by caravan, campervan, or RV that wants to keep a log of what they experience.
You can add the number of kilometres you drove, the weather, where you parked and anything you want to remember. You can even add memorabilia.
There are also some special pages throughout the book for special memories like ‘Things we forgot’.

Activities in the area
We take Natalie’s parents’ car to go to Brive-la-Gaillarde and shop. We buy clothes, a Brita filter, have lunch, get tools to fix the camper’s gas supply and have a nice day out.
The area is great for mountain biking, so Marten gets his eMTB to do part of the route ‘La Corrézienne’. The path is sometimes really small with trees next to it and has some sharp turns making it a great challenge for Marten.
Last but not least, we drive to Autoire to hike to the waterfall. This is only a short walk and easy to do, but it offers a great view of a waterfall. The cute village is busy in summer, but this early it is still doable, even though there are plenty of people near the waterfall already.
